The Sprite Slim-Line 2 is a universal shower filter designed to fit between your existing shower head and shower arm. The Slim-Line 2 features the Extend-A-Path baffle system, Dial-A-Date replacement indicator, and a low-profile housing that extends your shower head less than 1.5 inches.

This product is PLASTIC!!! I've been using a Sprite Slim-Line 2 Shower filter since 2/2011. That housing is cast metal in Brushed Nickel finish. I am very happy with it. We are redoing our shower and changing to Chrome finish hardware, thus the purchase of this filter. I am very disappointed that it's plastic and am considering using the one I already have until all the replacement filters I already have are gone, and then purchasing another brand of filter.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your Sprite Slim-Line 2 Shower Filter (SL2). The Sprite SL2 is indeed built with a lightweight ABS plastic housing. We do have the Sprite Slim Line Brass (SLB) which is built with a solid brass metal housing. Please reach out and we will be happy to get you the correct filter.
